The Life of Brian: I see no windmills! Looking for potential sites for new windmills from previous sites for old windmills!
After a spot of off-road motorbiking earlier today, we emailed Sn. Gonçalves, the wind turbine consultant with the coordinates for an alternative site for the wind turbines, which appears to meet all of his criteria but crucially, is over 1km distance from any house or ruin.
We've also asked for more details about his preferred site at Alportel, including the number of trees which would have to be cut-down.
